Creative idea:
A website is usually a page. We made one a place. The Guide Who Never Sleeps is an immersive experience created for United24, Ukraine’s official fundraising platform. We transformed a donation website into a real location anyone in the world could walk into — the destroyed House of Culture in Irpin, where eight-year-old Arina used to dance before russian attacks turned it to rubble. Built in Unreal Engine and streamed live through any browser via Pixel Streaming on GPU cloud servers, the experience delivered high-end game quality 3D inside a regular browser tab — on any phone or laptop, with no apps, no downloads, and no gaming hardware. Every step, turn, and light was rendered remotely in real time, responding to the user just as a console game responds to a controller. Inside, Arina leads visitors through the ruins and her memories into a dream sequence where she dances again. Her future is painted with AI models trained on Ukrainian artists Kuindzhi, Delaunay, and Exter, anchoring her vision in the cultural inheritance the war sought to erase. Launched as an experiment with zero paid media, the project guided 6,000+ tours from 57 countries, reached 3.2 million impressions globally, and raised $64,619 in direct donations. Dancers around the world, including Miami City Ballet performers, recreated Arina’s choreography on their own stages.
